Stage 1 remap for this r56 Mini Cooper S, and what a great example it is!

It’s 1.6 turbocharged engine inherently responds much better to a remap than the supercharged engine from the earlier r53 Mini Cooper S – without any physical modifications one of our stage 1 remaps brings power up from 163hp to 205hp!

Coupled with it’s go-kart like handling this thing is now an absolute hoot to drive!

One question we’re often asked is whether a remap is suitable for high-miles vehicles, and our answer is always the same – so long as the vehicle has been looked after, yes.

Despite this Audi A3 having over 200,000 miles on the clocks it passed our diagnostics and under-bonnet checks better than some, and we were happy to perform one of our stage 1 remaps 😉

This A3 now has a new lease of life with power being upped from 200hp to 250hp!
